Squads will not be determined
until after the football draft (Saturday, July 19, 2008) due to siblings and special
requests. You will be notified what
team you will be cheering for by the Cheer Mom assigned to your squad. At that time your Cheer Mom will discuss your practice

schedule and location for practices with no more than four
activities/practices/games per week. How can I help my child’s squad?

order forms and a variety of other duties. Team Moms communicate between the
Cheerleading Coach and Parents. Do Cheerleaders perform at away games?
Cheering at away games is required
just like for the football players. With enough participants we will not have
many away games and parents are usually willing to carpool. Does the Squad do a special dance performance? The amount of dance routines
performed during the year will be up to each individual Cheer Mom. A half-time performance during
each football games is required of the cheerleaders. This is the time for the
cheerleaders to entertain the spectators, show their team spirit, and have fun. Every cheerleader will need to
learn the cheers so practices are very important. Each game should start with a
hello cheer to the other team and end with a team cheer.
CYFL feels that the cheerleaders
are a very important part of the game and welcome their enthusiasm cheering for
their team on the sidelines throughout each game. What is the refund policy for Cheerleading?
